FAQ
Which SEO plugins does it work with?
Yoast, Rank Math, SEOPress, All in One SEO and The SEO Framework, plus raw core titles where no SEO plugin is active. Detect reads whatever is actually being output, so it works even when two plugins are fighting.
What is ghost metadata?
When you switch SEO plugins, the old plugin's metadata stays in your database. If it's still being output, or gets output again after an update, you end up with titles you thought you deleted years ago. Detect finds these leftovers so you can clear them properly.
Will scanning slow my site down?
No. Scans run on demand from the admin area, results are cached, and nothing runs on your visitors' page loads. There are no background requests to your own server.
Do I need an AI subscription for Pro?
Pro uses the AI provider you configure — either the built-in WordPress AI features or your own OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek or Perplexity API key. Usage is billed to you directly by that provider at their standard rates. Globe Boss Detect adds no markup and never handles your API keys.
How does billing work?
Solo, Agency and Unlimited are annual licences billed through Freemius. Prices exclude VAT, which is calculated at checkout based on your location. Cancel any time.
